Andrew Hartley (Performer), from Moncton, New Brunswick, collaborates regularly with emerging and established artists and has danced in work by Serge Bennathan, Sylvie Bouchard, Susie Burpee, Angela Blumberg, Allison Cummings, David Earle, DA Hoskins, Indrit Kasapi, Noémie Lafrance, Isabel Lewis, Meagan O’Shea, Simon Renaud, Michelle Silagy, Michael Trent, and Dan Wild. His choreographic work has been presented in Toronto and New Brunswick, most recently at Dancemakers as part of Older & Reckless. In July, he will be performing a short solo at the Glad Day Bookshop. Andrew and Emma Kerson founded Common People, a collective to support their creative voices. Common People has commissioned duets by Simon Renaud and Tedd Robinson, and plans to present both works at the Citadel in February 2017. He teaches in the Young Dancers’ Program at the School of Toronto Dance Theatre and as guest faculty of DancEast Dance Centre de Danse in Moncton.
